A different kind of homestay…

Situated in the idyllic surroundings of Izumo, historic City of the prefecture of Shimane, this "Kominka" (traditional Japanese farm-house) offers a variety of activities in order to experience the traditional Japanese "slow" lifestyle. The building itself is more than 400 years old and has been completely renovated by a renowned local architecture firm, which by the way has it's seat in this building itself.

Besides taking part in the activities that take regularly place you can also rent this house as a private person or as a group and immerse yourself in this calm and wonderful natural landscape.
